Handwoven Cotton Yoga Rug | Block-Printed Grid Pattern
Structure Becomes Serenity.
The Rekha Series: where lines intersect with intention.
"Rekha" means line. In sacred geometry, it's about the clarity created when lines meet with purpose. Grid patterns appear in nature wherever organisation meets beauty: honeycomb structure, crystalline formations, the precise symmetry of mandalas.
This rug creates a framework your mind can settle into. Not constraint, but clarity. Not rigidity, but refuge.
- Pattern Meaning - Rekha (line): Lines intersecting with intention. Grid as a structure that paradoxically sets you free. For practitioners who understand that discipline creates space for liberation, that clear boundaries allow infinite depth.
- Material - Handwoven organic cotton. Substantial yet breathable. Woven to create a structure that supports without confining.
- Dyes - Naturally dyed with herbal colours. Five colour options, each bringing different energy to structured practice:
-
Cutch Rekha: Earth-brown lines. Each square is a reminder to return to the centre.
-
Pomegranate Rekha: Balanced neutrality. Calm presence in every space.
-
Indigo Rekha: Deep blue geometry. Clarity, discipline, meditative focus.
-
Madder Rekha: Clay-red warmth. Structured energy that roots you to the ground.
-
Marigold Rekha: Sunlit steadiness. Warmth meets precise design.
- Technique - Handloomed on traditional looms, then hand block-printed with grid patterns that align through skilled hands, not computer precision. Naturally dyed to create colours that hold their depth. The structure shows in every intersection, every line meeting with intention.
- Character - For alignment-focused practices that honour precision. Where clear visual structure supports mental clarity. Grid pattern provides visual alignment for practices where boundaries create freedom. Order that serves presence, not performance.
- Vinyasa Promise - Handwoven. Naturally-dyed. Block-printed by artisan communities.
- Specifications - Size: 76cm × 200cm | Weight: Substantial yet breathable | Care: Machine washable, cold water recommended
- Best For - Alignment-focused practice, meditation, disciplined asana work, studios and dedicated practice spaces.

Since this product is handwoven and hand block-printed, there might be slight irregularities. But don't you think these add to the singular charm of handmade beauty?
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
- Washing: Cold water (30°C or below) with mild, plant-based detergent. Wash separately for the first 2-3 washes, as natural dyes may release slight colour. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners.
- Drying: Air dry in shade. Direct sunlight can fade natural dyes over time. Lay flat or hang to dry. Do not tumble dry.
- Storage: Roll rather than fold to prevent creasing. Store in breathable cotton bag away from direct sunlight in cool, dry place.
- Usage: Colour deepens with gentle use. Natural variations in weave and print are characteristic of handmade textiles. Best used on non-slip surface or with a yoga mat underneath for added grip.
